To comply with the zero tolerence policy of Government of Telangana lead by the honourable chief Minister Sri. K. Chandra shekhar Rao against the menace of fake certificates and to make Telangana free from academic fraud, Telangana State Council of Higher Education has setup the online Student Academic Verification Service for the benefit of students, recruiters, background verification agencies, higher education institutions and law enforcing authorities.
The primary objective of this service is to provide instant, online and authenticated academic verification of students' academic awards (certificates) so that the job seekers need not go through the hardships of manual/ physical verification. It also enables the law enforcing authorities to curb the menace of fake certificates. The higher education/ research institutions in India or abroad can also use this service for quick disposal of admissions and recruitments.
Student data of all the fifteen universities in the state for the period since 2010 is available.
The service is provided in two formats - Instant and Complete Verification.
Instant verification: The system asks for input about the university, degree, year passed and hall ticket number of the student and displays instantly the essential details of the student such as name, father name, aggregate marks obtained, percentage/ cgpa and result along with photo of the students from the university records.
If searched record is not found it displays that information with an advisory to report it.
Full verification: The user uploads the scanned copies of the certificates, makes the online payment of stipulated fee. The submitted soft copies of certificates are sent to the concerned university where the verification is done procedurally and the result of the verification is conveyed to the user by email.
